I recommend reading these rules thoroughly, as your continued membership depends on it.
1) Spam is bad, don’t spam. If people want spam they can go to the grocery store…or their e-mail inbox.
2) Try not to offend anyone. If you KNOW it’s going to offend someone, just don’t post it; with obvious exceptions (it’s ok to offend nazi’s (unless you want to put the word “fem” in front of that)). If you THINK it’s going to offend someone, it’s probably a bad idea to post it.
3) Keep topics to their board. If your post has nothing to do with that board, put it somewhere else.
4) If you want to bump up your post count, create threads like “word association” and “the person below me”; don’t post or reply with unnecessary or irrelevant crap.
5) Keep your signatures under about 200 pixels high and 600 long. I’m not going to go around measuring your sig, but if it’s freakin’ huge I’ll make you change it.
6) There’s no rules against cussing, but keep it minimal. You don’t need to drop the f-bomb in every sentence, or even every post. And bad names are a bad idea (I better never hear words like “faggot” and “nigger”).
7) NO BI BASHING! So many people, both straight and gay, dislike bisexuals for a variety of reasons, and all of them are STOOPID. Bisexuality is as legitimate as any other sexuality, as well as polyamory (being in love with, and dating, more than one person at a time), and is similarly not a choice. I understand on a board like this a lot of people are going to want to dis their ex for being bisexual; don’t do that here.
So what happens when you don’t follow the rules? First you’ll get a warning, in case you just broke a rule on accident. The second time (or if you get all testy and spam me about your first warning) you’ll get a stern warning and be banned for a week. The third time (or if you get really annoying or offensive with your replies to my warnings) you’ll be banned permanently. If you create a new account and it’s obvious it’s you (you start ranting about how unfairly you were kicked off) this new account will be gone in a heartbeat.
That’s it, simple. Just be nice to each other and you’ll be ok.
